Our Memorable Kodak Moment:

My husband set the trash bag outside our back door Saturday morning while the Senate was voting on the DREAM Act.  After it was defeated, he put on his coat and boots to take the bag to the big trash container.  Upon stepping outside, he discovered that an undocumented dog had entered our yard and torn up the trash bag strewing garbage all over!  Instead of being angry I said,  "Wait, wait!  Look at what's on top of the trash pile...the DREAM Act!"  See the photo of Congressman Luis Gutierrez in the center? Priceless!!!

YOU are on the top of my list!!!  Some IFIRE members called dozens of senators and sent dozens of faxes!  Some even demonstrated at Senator Lugar's offices!  We had lots of help from Tea Party, freedom & patriot groups.  Thank you all!!!  We couldn't have done it alone!

Republicans:  DeMint, Sessions, Vitter, Inhoff, Chambliss and Isakson.

60 votes were needed to pass the DREAM Act but the DREAMers could only muster 55.  These 5 Democrats voted NO.  Please thank them for helping defeat this bill!

Democrats:  Hagan, Baucus, Tester, Nelson and Pryor.
