FAQ: What You Need to Know About the Auction

What is the "When the Saints Go Marching In" Mardi Gras Night Auction?

The Auction is a lovely, fun-filled evening consisting of a cocktail hour with wonderful appetizers and silent auction, followed by a fabulous buffet dinner and live auction, and then lots of fun, dancing, and exciting raffles. This year's auction is being held on Saturday, February 4th, at the PGA National Resort and Spa, 400 Avenue of the Champions, Palm Beach Gardens at 7:00 pm.  Cocktail attire; valet parking included.

What is the purpose of the event?

The Auction is an annual event that brings the families and friends of All Saints together for a great evening of fun to raise money for our school.  It is the most important event of the school year.  The Auction is one of the best ways for existing and new families to get to know one another.

Where does the money go that is raised by the Auction Gala?

All proceeds from the Auction support our annual operating budget.  The funds raised are used to bridge the gap between the price of tuition and the actual cost of educating each student.  Our goal is to raise $100,000 this year.

Where do the Auction items come from?

Generous businesses, All Saints parents, friends, faculty, and All Saints classes donate all of the items for the Auction. We ask that each family donate at least one auction item.

How and where can I donate?

There are many ways to donate:

  1. Bring a donation to the front office. Attach an Item Donation form, which informs the Auction Committee about the donation (who it is from, the value, etc).
  2. Gift Gathering Event at the Scalera's House: On Saturday, November 5th, Sam and Tricia Scalera will be hosting a Benefactors' Party at their new home. The Benefactors' Party is a night to get out and socialize with the All Saints community while making a donation to the auction. The donation is $50 and invitations have been sent to All Saints families. If you cannot attend the party but would like to make a donation please bring it to the school office. Thank you.
  3. Be a Benefactor or Sponsor: Financial Contributions can be made directly to the Auction Committee.

Aren't all the items at the Auction very expensive?

No, there are items for everyone's budget.  The Auction has items starting as low as $20 (Silent Auction) and go up to several thousands of dollars (Live Auction).

Even if I can't spend a lot of money should I still attend?

Absolutely, everyone at All Saints is encouraged to attend.  It is a fun evening with friends whether you spend a lot of money or not.  This is one of the best opportunities to build our ASCS community and show your support for the school. If you'd like to volunteer at the event, please let us know!

Now that I know more about the Auction, I would really love to attend, how do I purchase my tickets?

Tickets are $150 each. This year's dinner will include a full Cajun style buffet and open bar for your dining pleasure!
