HUMAN RELATIONS SUNDAY

Dr. Myron F. McCoy will Preach       

Dr. Myron F. McCoy, President of Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, MO will join us in worship on Sunday, January 15th, 2012 for Human Relations Sunday and the Sunday before Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday.  In this season of epiphany Dr. McCoy will deliver a sermon on how the Light of the World came for all people.

 

A special offering will be taken.
 
 
POVERTY SIMULATION
The Leadershp and Faith Transforming Communityies Team will host a Poverty Simulation.  The event will help to understand the very real struggles of living in poverty and renew our desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.  This has been discribed as a powerful event.

Meet in Schneeberger Hall right after the last service for ice cream.  Bring your calendars for 2012 so we can pick dates to acolyte.  Training will be for all 3rd thru 6th grades who wish to learn and a refresher for others.

3-D Theater production of

"The Feeding and the Boat Ride"

Drama, dessert, and discussion for the interpretation of Andrew and Peter's experience with the feeding of the five thousand and Jesus walking on water.
