It's time to celebrate!!

Saturday, July 3:
7 - 9;30am: All you can eat pancakes served hot and delicious by the LUMYouth in Schneeberger Hall. Cost is just $6 for adults and $4 for kids. Proceeds support LUMYouth Programs, Ministries and Outreach.

7am: Lenexa Freedom Run. We're helping hand out water to the runners

10am: Lenexa Parade...including our very own Lawn Chair Drill Team!!



Sunday, July 4:
Worship at the Park at 8am and in the Sanctuary at 9am. Stay for Heavenly Half Hour, from 10 - 10:30am. Come and meet our new pastors, Marilyn and Jack Gregory!! There is no worship at 10:30 due to the holiday. There is no children's Sunday School at 9 or 10:30, and no Youth at 10:30. Adult classes - check with your leaders to see if you're meeting.

The volunteers who worked at the Multi-Service Center's Food Pantry on Monday afternoons can no longer help out. Cindy Muehlberger is looking for 2 people who can volunteer from 3-5pm on Monday afternoons. Please contact Cindy at 913-715-6652 with questions/if you can help. Thanks!

Traveling This Summer?


















Are you traveling this summer? Take time to check out a local church...or create your own worship service on the boat, in the mountains, by the lake, or wherever you may be!

If you get travel sized products, such as lotion, shampoo, soap and conditioner, please bring them to church for people who are homeless. These are being collected in the Missions Nook outside the Church Office.


If you get a new email, telephone number (including cell number) or move, please let the office know. It really helps us keep in touch with you when we know how to reach you. Email information to office@lenexaumc.org or leave a message for Linda Lipp or Suzette at 913-888-5600.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Cross
Thursday evenings are super cool for the gals of LUMYouth.

 Our Bible study of the Beatitudes continues as we read together, journal our thoughts, and pass our special cross necklace from friend to friend. There's always room for more, so please come (invited a friend too!). We meet on Thursdays from 7 - 8pm.
