Sunday, May 16 Graduation Sunday
Message: "Transformed to Witness Scriptures: Ephesians 1:15-23 Luke 24:44-53
Come and celebrate with our graduates! It is also Ascension Sunday, a celebration of the day that Christ, in the presence of Hhs apostles, ascended bodily into Heaven. This day actually occurs 40 days after Easter, which is on a Thursday, but traditionally celebrated that following Sunday.

Hello... It's So Nice To Meet You...
It's probably happened to all of us...that truly awkward moment when we see someone at church we don't know and wonder...is she a visitor? Has he been coming here for years, and I just haven't noticed?
We are a welcoming congregation, yet sometimes it is so hard to approach a "newcomer" and say hi, what is your name, and welcome!
Maybe we can each set a goal to extend our hand to one new person each Sunday, even if that new person ends up being someone who has been coming for awhile. We welcome others because Christ welcomes us to share his love. When we share his love back, saying hello to a stranger gets easier and easier.
