Into the Future---and the Past
As practitioners, we can all relate stories to illustrate that the effects of Reiki are not limited to the recipient, but can also impact his or her immediate family, extended family, friends, and co-workers.
The same is true with each class we teach. We know that in addition to the students, each one with whom the student comes in contact and each one with whom they come in contact may be touched in some way. But we cannot know specific results beyond what is reported to us, or those that we may observe.
Early in my practice I was fascinated to learn that the effects of Reiki extend not only to the recipient's immediate sphere of influence and into the future, but also into the past and into the spirit realm.
If you would like to know how this discovery came about, see the Summer Issue of Reiki News Magazine or download a free PDF of the article here: Article.

Honoring the Founder
Join fellow Pacific Northwest Reiki practitioners Sunday,
August 15 at 2 PM in honoring Reiki founder Mikao Usui's 145th birthday.
To be
held at Tsubaki Grand Shrine of America in Granite Falls, WA, the beautiful Shinto ceremony will include a powerful blessing and purification for all attendees as well as a soul blessing for Usui Sensei.
Originating in the spontaneous reverence for Nature of Japan's deep prehistory, Shinto existed for thousands of years prior to the arrival of Buddhism. In Usui and Hayashi's day, virtually all Japanese practiced both. Shinto's central tenets are living
in harmony with Great Nature and the purification and strengthening of one's ki (life force energy).
A
minimum donation of $15 is suggested. Carpools
will leave from several Seattle area locations. Click here
for more information or to sign up.
