Welcome, 
We are delighted with the enthusiasm and support that you have shown for the current series, 12 Steps to Reclaiming Your Life: Recovery for the Rest of Us. The Sanctuary has been packed and the CD's are selling like hot cakes.
This week is the conclusion of the series and even if you have not attended any of the prior three lessons, we invite you to step into the energy of recovery and to join us knowing that there is something to be learned for everyone even if you are not in recovery. Many of those who have participated in the series have shared their personal experiences of going deeper into resolving inner issues and are on the way to reclaiming more of their life.
We are pleased to share with you the New Earth Care Ministry that we are forming at The Unity Center. This will provide the opportunity to find many ways to help support the healing of Mother Earth. It is so important that we get involved and each do our part in saving our planet and when we do it together we share in the joy!

NEW!! Earth Care Ministry
Beloved ones: Planet Earth, our home, is in distress ecologically. There have been a lot of books written, international conferences held, and forward progress made in assisting her recovery. There is much more that can be done.
In light of this situation, The Unity Center is forming an Earth Care Ministry. We are looking for dedicated members to join our "design and define" team. We need members who can commit to meeting once a month to give birth to this ministry.

Spiritual Practices That Change Your Life

Cost: $50.00 for four sessions
Join us for four Tuesday evenings of lecture, personal dialog, discussion, meditation, and the guided experience of spiritual practices from India to Europe.
In this class, Rev. Will will share spiritual practices that he uses to keep in touch with the depths of one's spiritual nature, and the perspective they bring to "real life" situations.
We all know that the pressures of time, energy, and life circumstance often prevent us from experiencing beauty, insight, peace, and other spiritual gifts of life. This time together will be an offering of spiritual insight and understanding.

Angels Wanted
Lots of fun and important ways YOU can be of service
Welcome Angel Ministry (Youth and Family Ambassadors)
Welcome families to the youth and family wing; assist new families in finding the right classrooms; introduce them to the Director and teachers; provide Welcome Packets to new families among other small tasks.
Bake Sale Team Angels
Everyone loves having yummy treats on Sunday. Every month, we have a bake sale to provide scholarships for spiritual events for our youth. We are looking for 3-4 people to assist in creating the monthly themes and in overseeing the bake sale on a rotating basis 3-4 times a year.
Kids' Connection Angels
The nurturing, joyous souls who care for our youth help create a sense of family and home so that the children have a great Kids' Connection experience while their parents attend service.
Periodically, we need additional assistance in the classroom. Once a month, for one service, substitute Kids' Connection Assistants warmly greet youth and parents, and assist children with individual needs in the classroom.
Office Assistance Needed
Barbara Ben David, Director of Outreach, is in need of an assistant with sales and marketing experience who is available to help 4-6 hours per week.
General Office Angels Needed
Our office staff has expanded and we are in need of more support for various tasks requiring computer experience.

The Circulation Tree
Take a moment to visit The Circulation Tree located at the entrance to Youth and Family. This tree was originally created by our teens as a gratitude tree. When the Mom's saw the tree they thought of a practical way to show gratitude for all our families.
Using this Tree, families can "circulate" items in good condition - high chairs, toys, and gently used children's clothing.
- The green leaf is for items you'd like to circulate.
- The yellow leaf is for items you want to receive.
You are welcome to take a leaf with the intention of following through on the items requested on the leaf.

CAFE VIDEO DISCUSSION GROUP
Wednesday evening, February 3rd, our Café Video group will feature a satsang with Adyashanti called "Conscious Freedom." A clear discussion about spiritual seeking, progress, and wakening along with some questions and answers. Join Rev Will in The Unity Center Chapel (upstairs near the bookstore) at 6:45 pm for a 15 minute meditation, then the video begins at 7:10 pm.
