Welcome, 
We hope the New Year is providing the opportunity for personal reflection and growth. If you are looking for support and useful tools my current four week lesson series, 12 Steps to Reclaiming Your Life: Recovery for the Rest of Us, is a great place to start. This is a powerful series for everyone. Using the transformative tools of the 12 Steps of Recovery we can own and transcend issues that we are ready to be free of. Together as a spiritual family we can learn, change and grow. Please join us each week in January. This is a great series to invite a friend or family member.

HAITI DISASTER RELIEF
In light of the recent disaster in Haiti, Rev. Will researched ways that we at The Unity Center can make a contribution to the relief effort. The Obama administration, on the Whitehouse.gov website, has favored donating money to the American Red Cross. If you would like to contribute, you can do so directly at Red Cross. You can also donate $10 to the Haiti relief fund by sending a text message via your cell phone to: "Haiti" and send to this number: 90999. Spiritual Practices That Change Your Life
with Rev. Will Newsom
Tuesdays February 9th to March 2nd

Cost: $50.00 for four sessions
Join us for four evenings of lecture, personal dialog, discussion, meditation, and the guided experience of spiritual practices from India to Europe, during each of the Tuesday evenings. In this class, Rev. Will will share spiritual practices that he uses, and recommends to others, to keep in touch with the depths of one's own spiritual nature, and the perspective they bring to our "real life" situations.
We all know about the pressures of time, energy, and circumstance and how they often seem to prevent us from experiencing the beauty, insight, peace, and other spiritual gifts of life. This time together will be an offering of spiritual insight and understanding.
Knowing that you have your own wisdom, he may also ask you to share your spiritual practices (if you wish) in dialog, so that everyone present may benefit as a spiritual community.

Y.O.U. CARE PACKAGES FOR SOLDIERS IN AFGHANISTAN
The Y.O.U. is collecting a variety of non-perishable snacks and hygiene items at the ANY SOLDIER table on the patio after each service for the next ten months. It's a great opportunity to unload all those hotel shampoos, lotions and mouthwashes AND snacks we really shouldn't have around the house after we make our New Year Resolutions.
