Annual Pledge Drive
Each year we carefully plan the services and events we hope to provide our community. Our plans are based on a projected budget for the upcoming New Year. Our pledge drive is happening right now and, as of today, we have received only half the pledges we received last year. If you have not yet completed your card, please prayerfully consider your donation and turn this in to us as soon as possible.

Tis the Season to Make a Difference
COOKIES FOR THE CURE
December 13th, after both services, Kids for Peace will sell cookies on the patio to fund medicine for leprosy prevention and cure.
WARM CLOTHING FOR THE HOMELESS
Brian O'Neill will lead the YOUers in a service project to feed and provide warm clothing for homeless people. Donations of blankets, jackets, hats and gloves may be dropped off in Youth and Family.
HEIFER INTERNATIONAL CHRISTMAS PROJECT
We are initiating a humanitarian project this Christmas to alleviate poverty in developing nations, promote gender equality through education, and plant trees through Heifer International. The Y.O.U is participating by making paper Christmas ornaments for a donation to Heifer International. Please contact Rev. Will with questions.
FOOD DRIVE
We are participating in a food drive for San Diego residents in need. Please drop off non-perishable food items in the red containers in the lobby.
GLOBAL PRAYER SOLUTIONS INITIATIVE
Please join us every Sunday after services in our prayer circle for a short prayer led by Rev. Will.

MANTRA
Thursday, December 17th, 7:30 p.m. Please join Karl Anthony and Wendy Craig-Purcell for an evening of atmospheric visuals, spiritual enrichment, chanting, meditation and affirmations. (Child care available for 3-12 yr. olds for a love offering, please call 858-689-6500 to reserve space).
CAFÉ VIDEO DISCUSSION GROUP
Wednesdays in December at 7:00 p.m., Cafe, join us for a lecture series by spiritual teachers Rupert Spira, Eckhart Tolle and Adyashanti. (No Video on December 9th.)
CHOIR REHEARSALS
The Unity Center Choir will perform on Christmas Eve, December 24th. The rehearsals are Sunday, December 13th and 20th from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Applications are at the Activities Counter.
CONNECTING TO THE CENTER
December 13th,12:30-2:30 p.m. (The final class; the other two classes are required prior to taking this one.)
A COURSE IN MIRACLES
Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Room 201-202, all are welcome; meetings are held weekly.
HEART COHERENCE GROUPS
The Heart Coherence Groups will resume on January 3rd, 2010.
