New Product: Your client does not have Long Term Care, is over 65, underwriting can become a challenge. Many Americans Seniors are under the impression that their traditional health programs will cover their care. Medigap, Medicare and most commercial programs are destined to cover hospital stays, doctor bills, and some short term skilled nursing home. Unfortunately, they may not cover the cost of everyday assistance in your clients' home. 3. Star Rating Overview. CE Credits: 12:30 - 1:30 pm
Course Objective:The objective of this course is to provide participants with an understanding of the Star Ratings for plans offering health and drug services. We will cover the overall plan ratings, how bonuses are established and criteria used to determine a plan's rating. In addition, the course will cover the impact ratings will have on plan offerings and the consumer.
Benefit to Attendees: This course is designed to give licensed producers a better understanding of the Star Ratings. With a solid background of the Star Ratings, they will understand the importance of the ratings and impacts to health plan providers. After completing the course, licensed agents will be in a better position to proactively educate their clients about Star Ratings and what they mean. |
