Pyroceram is a transparent ceramic product for use in applications requiring high heat resistance and thermal shock resistant. Pyroceram is available in 3/16" [5mm] thickness and it has an amber tint, unlike clear float glass. Similar to Neoceram, Pyroceram will have some distortion, which is inherent to most ceramic products. Click here to learn more.

PYREX®

PYREX ® is a borosilicate glass made by Corning. It has excellent thermal properties, with a low coefficient of thermal expansion allowing for good heat shock resistance needed for high operating temperatures.
