 Want to save water this summer? Here are a few tips from CT. Water on how to do just that:
- Water your lawn early in the morning.
- Keep track of how long you water. Set a kitchen timer as a reminder
- Water the lawn when footprints become visible
- Position sprinklers so they don't water walkways and sidewalks
- Use a solar cover on pools to minimize evaporation;
- Collect and recycle rainwater - store collected water and siphon it off to water garden areas and flower beds.
