Linkedin Groups Keep Getting More Social
We recently reviewed the new Linkedin.com group upgrades. There's a lot going on for a group page and now, you can see it "at a glance." Here's the summary video link.
Groups are formed
based on a topic or to share ideas. Create your profile and join a
group. Consider where your clients might be (geographical), or what
their interests are (type of business). One of the area's regional
groups is the Chattanoogans. Place your request to join
and check out some of the interesting things happening in the area.
Let's hope if you're serious about business networking you have a profile here. Setting up a Linkedin profile is free and business focused. It can be your online resume and a separate business profile can be set up, too.
Wonder if you're an influencer for a group? Linkedin now ranks your interactions for the week. Your interactions will push you to the top. Check out the graph to the lower right of your group. Make sure your interactions are topic relevant. Challenge yourself to think of ways you can give back to others in the group.
