Social Media Headshot Tips
Facebook has over 250 million users. LinkedIn and Twitter also have millions of users and unique visitors each day. In all three social media platforms visitors are only going to have one constant visual of you - your headshot. Importantly, before you even get in front of a camera it's important to ask yourself what is your goal of using these social media platforms?
We think this headshot (or whatever photograph you choose) should enhance whatever your goal is. Is the goal simply to connect with lost friends? A fun, simple laughing shot maybe a good option.
Are you wanting to project power? Make sure the camera is focused on your eyes and you are looking down at the camera. This will project power and focus.
Are you in a service business and you want to project focus but want to be very approachable and fun? Look up at the camera and smile.
A couple of other ideas to think about is to try different angles and different lighting. Also, wear simple clothes that won't distract the eye. Obviously, we are biased and think hiring a professional photographer for your headshot is money well spent considering this is your professional image that over 250 million people have the opportunity to see.

A Newly Added Board Room

New Meeting Space at The Concierge Office Suites  |
The
Concierge Office Suites has now opened a Board Room for groups up to
four. This room is in an addition to our other great meeting spaces for
hourly, half-day, and full-day reservations. It has a huge white board
for notes, public access Wi-Fi and flip chart upon request. Coffee and
water by the pitcher can be conveniently served in your meeting room.
Copies, scans,
faxes, and other business support services are just a request away. Our
lobby is conveniently staffed Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00
p.m., other hours available with advance notice. Just call and ask about
availability for your next meeting.
