Greetings!
Back in July, one of our TCDC family members, Dental Assistant and Human Being Extraordinaire Dani, lost her sister Dannell to cancer. And during the past year, our practice family has been robbed of the laughter, spirit, and friendship of at least a dozen remarkable human beings we were proud to serve and even prouder to call friend. The common thief has been cancer and the crime is way beyond cold-blooded.
On November 7, the City of Hope will host its annual Walk for Hope. The Temple City Dental Care crew will attend in big numbers; we Hope you'll join us.
The Walk is an opportunity to raise funds supporting groundbreaking research at the City of Hope, as well as awareness of the severity of women's cancer.
Dani's family will be walking and honoring Dannell and I know we'll all be carrying the memory of other loved ones lost. I guarantee you'll be inspired meeting Dani and her family, the Williams. You'll also be inspired by the power of family and its partnership with purpose.
The designated color for the 2010 Walk for Hope is purple, the official color for the fight against all cancers. So let's put on some purple and help the City of Hope help us become our own best advocates.
