| Greetings! |
 So things get so dang exciting this time of year I'm hard pressed not to sing and dance around the office.
And if you've seen some Dr. V hip-hop or heard "Friends in low Places" then you know what you're missing the rest of the year.
The Holidays are on deck just like the World Series, Bowl games, and the next TC City Council court appearance and we all get the chance to take a collective sigh...and give thanks.
Mama Von Bulow always used to tell me no matter how frustrating things get around here most of the rest of the world would swap straight up for our worst day.
This time around you'll hear more about Invisalign Day, learn a thing or two about healthier and brighter smiles, and get to know Twin Tower of Hygiene Jennifer a little better. I'll give you a USC v Notre Dame report straight out of South Bend, Indiana plus some photos and videos featuring some of our coolest patients.
And don't forget the pearls from Aunt Clara...if you ever meet her, you might be quizzed.

USC vs. Notre Dame
Freshman QB Matt Barkley has thrown for 958 yards and three touchdowns this season.
So what can I say? How cool is it to stay in Chicago across the street from Gibson's for 4-5 days and take a day to see my beloved Trojans beat the Irish for the eighth time in a row? I would say, very cool indeed.
I actually saw five different TCDC patients on the trip. Hung out with Susie and Steve Day and now I can get into Gibson's with no reservation wearing a USC hoodie and shorts. I also experienced a sighting of USC' Doc Hubanks and better half Sharon. And I wound up sitting next to Desmond Reed and his girlfriend. Desmond was an outstanding player at USC and has helped out with community stuff in our practice (See Desmond's Snuggies commercial videotaped by me at Notre Dame Stadium ini the YOUTUBE section here.)

| TEAM STAR: Twin Tower of Hygiene Jennifer Ton |
Registered Dental Hygienist Jennifer has been a key part of the TCDC team for the last seven years. Jen attended UCLA for two years but recovered in time to graduate from the Hygiene Program at USC. Jennifer has her laser certificate and has trained with the nationally renowned Advance Hygiene Concepts. And I don't know anyone who's clinically more meticulous than Jen.
What you may not know about Jennifer is that she commutes to Temple City all the way from Manhattan Beach, knows every 5-star restaurant in the world east or west of Temple City Blvd. I think Princess Jennifer's wedding and marriage to great guy Mike was actually televised in several countries.  "I'm not thrilled with going to the dentist, I mean seriously all that drilling, poking, ghastly needles the size of straws, not to mention the sadistic way they take x-rays...so needless to say I usually avoid them. Until one morning when I met Dr. Jack Von Bulow at a Pasadena Chamber of Commerce Meeting. I had been kicking around the idea of teeth straightening for years, but other things had always come first. TCDC contributes $3,375 to inspire change from within our inner-cities through empowerment
Brian Center, SUPER CEO for A Better LA, the innovative organization founded by USC football Coach Pete Carroll, made a personal visit this month to TCDC to congratulate them for their ongoing support to the cause. TCDC raised $3,375 this year to make South Central and the rest of LA a place where folks and families can safely work, play, and dream. TCDC is committed to great results in 2010 and look forward to working together.

| What's Up with Aunt Clara? |
Here's some advice I frequently get from my Aunt Clara:
"Make sure you let me know where you're going and call me as soon as you get home!!!" Now what I'm thinking is, "I was already a dentist during Disco and the Carter Administration." But what I know my Aunt is really saying is be responsible and accountable and stay in communication with your loved ones. And remember...I'm Sicilian; it only takes one phone call!
