About 3,500 fans jam Cromwell Field for Aug 22, 2009 Salute to Troy, the annual Trojan football season kickoff banquet.

So college football actually starts in a few days and I can barely control myself!  The Trojan shrine will be in all its glory and of course, the little stuffed bruin will be hanging upside down by its foot from the ceiling (Hey! A tradition's a tradition.)

Twin Tower of Hygiene Peggy and son Christopher joined dental implant surgeon extraordinaire Doc Haney and family plus All-World ceramist Jedd Denton and Applied Kinesiologist to the elite athletes Doc Sahara and family and friends for the Salute to Troy, USC's annual kick-off to the football season.

So the trip back to Boston in July had a lot to do with business systems and effective, inspired patient service.  And much like our Invisalign Summit experience in Las Vegas a great emphasis was placed on the relationship between oral health and general health.

The fact that periodontal disease and heart disease are related was made clear as well as the need for medical doctors and dentists to communicate.  Dental patients with unresolved periodontal disease are implored to seek medical consultation; heart disease patients and diabetics must seek ongoing dental care.

We also took on a full day of instruction August 26 in hopes of better serving patients with more timely and effective phone coverage.  Please don't ever hesitate letting us know how we're doing.
