Did you know it's better not to "Top Off" your gas tank? Gas tanks need room to allow gasoline to expand. If you top off your tank, the extra gas may evaporate into your vehicle's vapor collection system. The system may become clogged and not work properly, causing your vehicle to run poorly and have high gas emissions. Many gas stations are equipped with vapor recovery systems, so the additional gas that you put into your tank would be pumped back into the gas station`s tank, even though you're paying for it!
