Greenville Chamber Invited to Speak at the National Quality Education Conference for the 8th Consecutive Year
Tami Miller, Leadership Development Coordinator and Educator Liaison for the Chamber, spoke to educators from across the country at the 19th National Quality Education Conference (NQEC) in Indianapolis, IN earlier this week. Miller was joined by Bethel Elementary principal Brenda Byrd, Sue Cleveland Elementary principal Karen Chambers, and Shannon Lyles, Multi Age teacher at Sue Cleveland Elementary.
NQEC is the nation's leading conference for teachers, administrators, and support personnel to learn about using quality tools and concepts to improve U.S. schools. Miller and her co-presenters' topics included:

-How school leaders can implement and sustain cultures based on Continuous Quality Improvement tools and strategies.
-Successes at the elementary level using the plan-do-study-act cycle to cultivate reform and develop leadership in students through character education and academic success.
-Research-based best practices focused on review-preview learning, specifically the Essential Facts System™ standards-based grade level facts to support classroom instruction and increase student achievement.
