LEADERSHIP GREENVILLE NAMES NEW CLASS 38 PARTICIPANTS

The Greenville Chamber's signature Leadership Greenville program has named the participants for its newest Class 38. These participants were selected through an application process based on their involvement in the community and their ability to set and achieve high personal goals. They are embarking on a 10-month journey to discover the inner-workings of our area, including Managed Growth and the Economy, Quality of Life, Human Services, Local Government, Justice, Education and State Government. Summer Small Business Focus
We've got some great events coming up next week for Small - and all - businesses! Don't miss Tuesday's Business After Hours at Coffee Underground where at 6:15 pm, we'll break into group and one-on-one sessions so you can get to know other chamber members and what they do! And celebrate Greenville's180th Birthday honoring Dick Riley afterwards at Fluor Field! And Next Wednesday's Sales Roundtable will feature tips from the area's top sales professionals! Learn how to secure financing for your business! Join us on a Bus Trip to this Small Business Matchmaking Workshop in Columbia on Wednesday, August 31st! The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and statewide partners are having a one-day workshop on how to finance your small business on August 31st from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Columbia Conference Center. The workshop will offer advice from bankers and small business service providers on how to effectively pitch a business idea to secure financing. After the sessions, participants will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with lenders, resource providers and other non-bank sources of capital. The bus will leave the Chamber's lower parking lot on Wednesday, August 31 at 6:30 am, and return at approximately 6:30 pm. The cost is $40 and includes event registration, lunch and bus rides.
