 Upcoming Continuing Education Classes at IME
Targeted Movement for Massage Therapists
May 21 & 22, 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
15 CEUs
This seminar introduces you to the Practical Movement curriculum and covers the key movements that will address the most common issues that you encounter in your practice. Neuromuscular re-education and stretching approaches by targeting specific muscles will be taught. Go to www.practicalmovement.com to register. Cost: $325 if registered by April 21. $425 if registered after April 21.
Reviewer Discounts: If you have taken this course before a discount of $100 is offered to students who have taken the seminar and would like to repeat it - cost of Targeted Movement will then be $225 if registering prior to April 21.
Referral Discount: Tell your colleagues and friends about any PMT course and receive a $50 credit for each successful referral. Just have the referring student enter their name in the "how did you hear about the seminar" field during the registration process.

Kosho Kempo Introductory Class
Tuesday, April 26, 7 - 9 p.m.
 Kosho Kempo is a Japanese art where students will learn Ki, relaxation, breathing and natural movements. Participants should dress comfortably and bring an open mind. Some physical activity involved.

Student Clinic Massages Offered Saturdays at the Institute for Massage Education

The Institute for Massage Education at KCHA offers 50-minute full-body massages to the general public. This is a great opportunity to receive massage at a greatly reduced rate.
Students near the completion of their training at the Institute perform the massages. The fee is $30 per session, with 10 percent off for senior citizens or students with a valid I.D. There is no charge for alumni of the Institute for Massage Education at KCHA.
You will need to bring twin size sheet set, a pillow with pillowcase and a blanket.
