Greetings IME/KCHA Alumni!
As a Graduate of the Institute of Massage Education at Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts, you've received an educational experience that sets you apart. You've also made connections that will last a lifetime. In an effort to honor our graduates and expand the benefits of an IME education, we are thrilled to announce the formation of the IME/KCHA Alumni Network!
We have some exciting plans in store for you in the coming year. We'll be bringing you continuing education opportunities, access to massage with fellow alumni (we all love that!), chances to interact with classmates, and so much more. This monthly newsletter will be our way of keeping you up-to-date on a variety of topics such as:

New Alumni Benefit - Alumni Trades
Are YOU getting enough massage in your life? |  Introducing Alumni Sundays at IME! As an effort to increase the benefits available to our alumni (and help you take care of YOU!), we're happy to introduce Alumni Sundays.
Beginning Sunday, February 20th, we're opening up our space the 3rd Sunday of each month from 1-4pm for trades with fellow alums!
That's right! Giving and receiving regular trade massage on a monthly basis is easy and conveniently located! You bring your own linens and oil, and we'll provide a warm space, tables, and soothing music FREE OF CHARGE!

For the first time ever, IME/KCHAAlumni have the unique opportunity to receive a private teaching session with Owner and Director, Su Bibik.
With over 30 years of experience, this session will help you in a variety of areas - whether it be working with your own physical challenge, exploring new technical approaches in your peronal practice, or seeking upgrades as a practitioner, this uniquely customized teaching session is specifically tailored to your needs and requests.

Employment Opportunity at IME

There is an immediate opening for the position of Overseer of Student Clinic.
This unique opportunity offers a chance for an experienced practitioner with enthusiasm for training future practitioners to develop teaching, communication, and organizational skills.
Desired applicants will be prompt, reliable, and clear in their communication to the students, faculty, and staff. Currently, the Overseer of the Student Clinic is a paid, shared position.
Student Clinic takes place on Saturdays starting in January 2011.
Schedules are flexible! Student Clinics are held on select Saturdays from 1pm - 5pm.

| Class Assistants Needed | |
Do you want an opportunity to brush up on your skills? Need a refresher? Would you like an opportunity to work in the classroom with IME students?
Then being a Class Assistant is for you!
There are immediate openings for Assistants in our Advanced Massage and Integrative Massage classes. We are looking for someone with experience in Craniosacral and Myofascial Release modalities. Class Assistants enjoy working with students, and are reliable in their support of the instructor.
