THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU

The first annual Sault Area Chamber Chase was a grand success!

With over 260 runners and many positive, encouraging comments, the first Sault Ste Marie marathon goes down as a great success.  We are very grateful to our great community for all your help in making this event a success.   We had awesome volunteers and our participants appreciated everyone.

A special thank you to our sponsors - your support helped us to market this event and manage the associated expenses.

September 24, 2011 - 2nd Annual

Sault Area Chamber Chase International Marathon!

A couple quotes from participants:
"I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the marathon. The view on the bridge was amazing and the route along the canal and river was beautiful. I even liked the wind in retrospect. I feel like I accomplished more than a marathon; a marathon + winds and still managed to run my best time yet. I will seriously consider returning next year!"

"I know many people have commented on the volunteers - that is because they were truly outstanding!  This was my 25th race of the year,  and I have never been more impressed with volunteers.  They made each runner feel special.  This was probably the most fun race I have had this year.  I plan to be there next year.
