Small Business Counselor, Lance Wolfe is available for free business counseling sessions twice monthly  at the Sault Area Chamber of Commerce and Michigan Works!.  Wolfe, a Small Business Administration certified business counselor, offers assistance to existing businesses as well as to anyone thinking about starting their own business.  

The Chamber has been helping to provide small business counseling to our area for the past ten years.   Our certified counselors have helped local residents to open numerous businesses in our community.  A few of their services include, providing a sounding board for new ideas, assisting with the preparation of business plans, referrals to qualified professionals, helping to identify regulations which may affect your business and help in developing loan packaging.

In addition to business start-ups, this program also provides a variety of services to existing businesses including identifying and managing resources, exploration of new markets, upgrading systems to enhance business operations, offering alternatives to existing modes of business and assistance with developing refinancing plans.
