The Sault Area Chamber and the Sault CVB are bringing a great training seminar to the Sault on May 19, 2009.
Staff Receives:- 4 hour interactive session
- Highlights customer service using:WORLD (welcome warmly, offer to help, really knock their socks off, listen actively, directions and information)
- Empathy exercises and role-play of customer interactions
- Review area attractions, hotels, restaurants and events
- Practice giving directions to local venues
- Participant Workbook
- Certificate of Completion
Management receives: pre-training information and ideas for follow-up and recognition activities. Seminar conducted by Jane Bertsch of the Regional Skills Alliance for Hospitality and Tourism of Southeast Michigan. This alliance trained over 1,500 employees and 4,000 volunteers in preparation for Detroit's hosting of SuperBowl XL. The program was also adopted by the Detroit Institute of Arts as an orientation program for their Grand Re-opening in 2007.
