H.R. 5297, Small Business Jobs and Credit Act of 2010 Passes in Congress!
The Small Business Jobs Bill legislation contains a number of provisions that have far-reaching, positive effects on small businesses including the establishment of a $30 billion loan fund for community banks, major changes to the Small Business Administration's (SBA) federal procurement programs, and tax incentives for small businesses. Read the summary of the Small Business Jobs Act by clicking here.
 
Women Business Owners Spend $500,000 Each in Growing Economy
The Women Presidents' Organization (WPO) has just released the results of the 2010 Buying Behavior Survey.  The results of the survey showed that members of the WPO alone have a projected spend of over $500,000 each on business expenses. Read more.

Interested in finding new markets for your business? Wondering if the Federal Government is buying what you sell and how you might go about finding out? This year, Women's Business Centers across the country, including E-Magnify, received Federal Contracting training by Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP). Advocates for women business owners receiving 5% of Federal Government Contracts across all agencies, WIPP "Give Me 5" Introductory course content is now available on e-magnify.com in a self-paced, podcast/powerpoint format to assist you in answering these questions.
