Two interesting studies highlighting entrepreneurs were released this month by the Kauffman Foundation: one highlighting the keys to a women's success as an entrepreneur and the other, confirming what we have certainly witnessed at E-Magnify over the past year - business start-ups are substantially up! The studies are available by clicking on the following links: 2009 Business Startups and "The Anatomy of an Entrepreneur, Are Successful Women Entrepreneurs Different From Men?" 
 
The latter study speaks to the differences and similarities of women and men entrepreneurs and sites that one of the keys to a women's success is encouragement. According to the study,  "special care should be taken to match women with mentors who offer them personal encouragement to take the entrepreneurial path."
