GP is San Diego's Newest KTM Dealer
GP Motorcycles is proud to announce that we are now San Diego’s newest
official KTM dealer. As of this week, GP motorcycles has taken delivery
of several models of KTM motorcycles including demos units of the 990
SM, 990 SMT, RC8, 690 Enduro R, 690 SM and Super Duke, and we are able
to take orders for parts, and service all KTM models.
We are happy to be able to fill what we feel has been a void in the
San Diego market for KTM. We are excited to be a dealer for such a strong
and well-managed company that is still on the gas with products and development,
when some OEMs are retreating in these tough economic times.
We feel that KTM will help us to fill out our already strong line up of all European bikes. We are now and have always been an enthusiast shop that is committed to the products we sell.

Geoff Hawkins Memorial Ride | Sunday 7/11/2010
Our
friend and one of the founders of GP, Geoff Hawkins, passed away recently,
and we were very happy to see so many people come out to honor the memory
of the man who put the "G" in GP.
Over 60 bikes left GP on Sunday morning for a loop through San Diego's back country, along some of Geoff's favorite roads.
Thank you to everyone came out for the ride, and those of you who joined
us for a celebration of his life afterward...and the answer to that eternal
questions is:
"Yes, Geoff. We like-ah da juice!"

This event is too close to miss! GP has two of its former team race supermoto bikes available for rent for this event:
- 2008 Husqvarna 450 X Micky Dymond, and
- 2007 Husqvarna 250 X Adam Cini
Both bikes are AMA pro- level bikes and are available to rent for $500 or purchase at $6500 for the 450 and $5000 for the 250. We also have the 2009 X games 2nd place finishing bike of Adrien Charyre for sale (price on request).
We also have a good selection of Vanson supermoto race suits at sale pricing. These suits are good for street or race and work well for sport riding as they are less restrictive than full on road race suits but offer excellent protection.
