Greetings from

Shop Move Update
Things have been coming along slowly by surely with the move, and we
are still trying to get everything wrapped up by the end of the month.
We will be sending out a brief email just before the actual move.
Again, thanks to all of you who have offered to help with the move.
We are very fortunate to have such good friends and customers.
Until the move — we are business as usual on G Street.
Changing of the Guard
After 12 years, long-time GP parts man, Isaac Heinrich,
has
decided
to move on and try some new things. We thank him for his many years
of service, and wish him the best of
luck in his new endeavors.
As Isaac's replacement, we are pleased to welcome Tony D'Augusta, an
avid motorcycle enthusiast who currently ownes an Aprilia Tunon and also
runs the Veloce Track Days, and we hope to combine a few of his scheduled
09 track days with GP. We will post the Veloce Track Day schedule on
our site in the coming days.

As we make the move to our new building, Tony will be charged with
modernizing our processes and bringing our parts department into the
21st century.

Oversized Gas Tanks for Ducati Hypermotos
This
tank will basically double your fuel capacity to a full 6.4 gallons and
give you a 200+ mile range.

And, best of all the overall apearance of your Hypermoto won't change.
The complete tank kit is $799 — installation 2-3 hours.
Shop Rides
Because of the move, our next shop ride won't be until May 17th. All
bikes are welcome and we will meet and leave from the NEW shop at 3617
"B" India Street.
The "Gus" Vintage Ride
We will have a vintage-only bike ride on June 14th — all
pre-1980 bikes are welcome.
This ride is in honor of Albert "Gus" Gustafson, a motorcycle shop
owner in San Diego who opened his shop in 1947. Gus ran the shop until he retired in 1988.
Gus' shop, Motorcycle Equipment,
was a dealership
for many English brands, offering new bike sales, parts and service.
And, during those 41 years that he was in business, Gus was the resident
expert for all British bikes.
Gus was a motorcycle icon in southern California, and a mentor to the
crew at GP from its inception. Ironically, Gus' shop was also on India
Street, just down the road from our new location.
We plan to make this an annual event, so get your vintage bike ready!
