If your pet is -- or is not currently on a raw diet, there are always ways to improve your pets nutrition.
Why should you improve if you are currently on raw ......or kibble or canned food?
Humans try to imitate what their canine and feline friends should be eating in the wild to maintain health. This lends us to not completely full-filling the diet plan nature intended for them. We have to be diligent to ensure that our furry friends are indeed getting the essential nutrients that are not found in their packaged foods.
Adding at least ONE of these suggestion will improve your pets' health --no matter what the diet:
2) Add a
Spirulina supplement to their daily diet
4) Grate carrots, summer squash, zucchini or other vegetables into their daily food or use as a snack
5) Provide a
probiotic to their diet every day-formulated for pets to ensure the good bacteria are abundant in their digestive tract
7) If you are currently feeding raw, change the proteins frequently so they don't develop an allergy, and they get the zoo-nutrients found in that species of protein
8)Add raw, meaty bones to your pets diet once per week
A Few more things.......
10) Get Titers for Parvo and Distemper and get a reduced Rabies vaccination for states that require it - LIMIT or forego ALL VACCINATIONS as they are the CAUSE of most health problems with our beloved pets- (and humans, too)
I wish you all a very happy and healthy holiday!
