Dear Prayer Partner,
I normally change the picture every month, but we need to remember the empty cross!!! Christ suffered and died for us, was buried, but he conquered death and rose from the grave. Read what Paul wrote in 1 Cor. 15:3-4. Do you sometimes wake up late in the morning and rush around to get to work, but you don't spend time with the Lord in prayer and reading His Word. That has happened to me and I suffer. Somehow, the day doesn't go well--you feel disorganized, something a co-worker says makes you irritated, and I'm sure some of you can add some other items. If possible (I know some workplaces can be hard on Christians and prayer), find some solitude for time in prayer (whatever amount of time you feel is sufficient). May we be known by the nickname of James, 'Old Camel Knees', which he obtained by the amount of time he spent in prayer.
A Blessed and safe day to all of you. Thank you again for your prayers for Brookes.
Sincerely,
Mervin Wagner Brookes Bible Institute
