July 18 @ 2:30 PM is our next Prayer Sunday

Dear Prayer Partner,
 
The empty cross!!!  What a glorious reminder to us.  This past month, I had the joy to memorize Rev. 19:11-16, which tells of Christ as Conqueror.  That will be great joy for us who know the Lord as Savior to hear the trumpet sound and join Christ.  There is a lot of power in these six verses in Revelation.  I really enjoy the last verse,
And He has on His robe and His thigh a name written which is:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS

Thank you to all of you who sent me your favorite verse(s) as I really enjoyed them and reading why they are your favorite.  I want to leave a thought with you which deals with our legacy, which is not an original, but I read it in a weekly email I receive:
The seed of your greatest legacy is found on your knees.

 Group prayer in Spain
Praise
 
1.   Praise for the verses I received last month from our prayer partners.
 
 2.  For personal friends and friends of Brookes who lift the school up in prayer. 
 
 3.  For the accrediting process as it is making us scrutinize how we can improve the services to our students.

4.  Praise for the work on the Student Union.  The floor is being installed today, July 2.

5.  We have started preliminary conversations with a presidential candidate.
 
Prayer
 
 1.  For our presidential search.  How to proceed with the new candidate.
 
 2.  For the grant to expand our library for which we made application at the Chatlos Foundation.  Their Board is meeting this month to decide if they will continue to review our application.
 
3. To find and have the funds available to hire a P/T librarian as well as a P/T employee.

4.  For the upcoming Fall trimester and the picnic on Aug. 21.

5.  The upcoming Israel trip.

6.  For three students, who had deaths in their family in the last week.

7.  Their is a lot of office work in addition to teaching that needs to be done.  For the staff that we would be good stewards and organizers of our time
