BEARFIGHT has a bunch of shows this weekend. Starting TOMORROW at the Jose Mac's 19th Annual Summer Block Party in Fanueil Hall. It starts at like 5:00 or something, but you only need to be there from 7:30-9:00, when your boys are playing. Then as if things couldn't get BIGGER: LANSDOWNE and WHISKEY PRIEST BACK-TO-BACK. BRUINS GAME SEVEN TONIGHT!!!
The B's last won the cup back in '72. Probably before most of your parents were born. Well Boston's lenghty championship drought (spanning 39 years in hockey, 4 years in general) may soon be over! The key to our great city's success over the last decade has always been to be blunt and succinct when verbally demoralizing the enemies of Boston sports teams. E.g. "Yankees Suck!" or "Beat L.A." or "J-E-T-S Suck! Suck! Suck!"
But what about the Canadanucks stuff?? Below are some examples we've seen:

- The Vancouver Cansuckit shirt, which at least includes the word suck, but is wordy. Also terrible.
- The Puck the 'Nucks! shirt. Puck the 'Nucks? Come on! Let's get away from apparel quickly and try yelling things...
- Chanting U-S-A! Tim Thomas is like the only American on the Bruins. In our defense though we at BearFight chant U-S-A pretty much daily, regardless of sports affiliations. Usually we're in line at Dunk's. BECAUSE WE CAN THAT'S WHY.
We need something that pierces and demoralizes, like an entire gospel choir singing "Blame Canada" into megaphones, but in a single concise phrase, eh? We were thinking "More like CAN'Tnucks." Oh no no how about "VanLOSER Canucks" ...
Shmancouver Shmanshmucks? We realize these are all Vancouvery bad.
OK turns out our cleverness, which typically knows no bounds, actually knows bounds. Give us a break. We can't think straight right now it's Game Fucking Seven. How about YOU come up with that awesome phrase?! Or just shout it in the streets tonight. GO BRUINS!
BEARFIGHT T-SHIRT UPDATE
We just got this summer's shipment of band T-shirts! We got a great deal on a whole warehouse full of them. The only problem is they all say "Miami Heat: 2011 NBA CHAMPIONS" on them. Haaaaaaaa!
