| Greetings! |
Earlier this month, the news was filled with reports of the death of Steve Jobs. There were lengthy accounts of his technological genius. I have to agree it would be difficult to find anyone else with a similar impact on modern civilization. Apple computers, I-pods, I-touches, I-phones and I-pads are everywhere.
A lot has also been reported about Steve Jobs being given up for adoption by his college-student parents and raised in a working-class family. The story is a wonderful tribute to "choosing life" and the blessing of adoption.
Steve Jobs was a Buddhist with interest in the Eastern Mystic religions. Imagine the Kingdom impact his genius could have had if he had been raised in a Christian home.
With your faithful support, Mulberry is raising at-risk Ukrainian children in homes with Christian parents. You see a lot of children in our newsletter pictures. Could one of those boys or girls have the potential of a Steve Jobs?
Please pray for the children. They are the future of Christianity in Ukraine. Don't grow weary.

| Chernov Van Fund | |
A group from Crossroads Christian Church in Evansville has committed to raise $20,000 for purchasing a used 12 passenger van for the Chernov family. In less than two months, they have raised over $6,000 in donations. If you would like to help with this project, just mail a donation to Mulberry and write "van" on the check.
You may remember this picture from last month. The Chernov family now travels with eight children and two parents in a Volkswagen Jetta. The way the children are growing, it won't be long before seven in the back seat becomes a problem.

Building Needs |

Yes, it does get cold and snowy in Crimea. This building, a remodeled kindergarten, is now home to three families with a total of twenty-seven chldren. It is warm and cozy when everything works properly. Now is the time we need to service heating units and buy fuel for the winter. To help with the cost for this building and others housing our families, you can make a donation and designate it for winter preparation. |
| Matters for Prayer |
