This week, I'm in Ukraine with a team from Mt Carmel Christian Church in Cincinnati.  The team arrived Sunday afternoon and has had a very busy three days.  Today we move to Evpatoria and will be staying with Mulberry's sponsored foster families.

We visited an abandoned construction site near the Simferopol train station.  There were children "hanging out" on the roof.  Some ran away when they saw us approach.  Others recognized Denis and Andrei from the Pilfrim staff and came down to give us a tour.  The smell of smoke and alcohol was heavy in the building and on the children.

On Wednesday, the team assembled a swing set for one of our foster families.  This set was donated by a generous team who visited Ukraine last year.  Yes, we had to assemble the set while ten children played on it or "helped."
