Yes, it does snow in Crimea.
The weather has been harsh for the past couple of weeks.

Greetings!

We are about to close out another challenging year.  Budget pressures seemed to bother us from the beginning.  Plus, we had some key personnel losses in our Ukraine staff.

Through it all, God is faithful.  Time and again He shows up at just the right moment with just the right provision.

We added two new children to our foster care at the end of 2009.  One of our Transitional Living parents left the ministry in April, so we "lost" three spaces for children who have dropped out of the system.  Then, late in the year, we added Leesa- who just turned one year old.

All in all, God has allowed us to hold our own (His own) in a very difficult financial environment.

We will be issuing our Year in Review newsletter soon with more details of our activities.  If you aren't on our regular mailing list and would like to receive a copy, just let me know.

For 2011, I hope to get the opportunity to personally meet with more of you.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Don't grow weary.

Christmas in November??

Goryainov Blessing BagsChernov Blessing Bags
Orthodox Christmas (January 7th) is observed by all Christians in Ukraine.  A US based ministry- Hopeful Hearts- shipped some Christmas blessing bags to our Evpatoria foster families that arrived in early November.  The do not open until Christmas instruction didn't arrive in time and the children all had a great celebration with the toys, candy and clothes before anyone realized what had happened.  These are pictures of two families with their goodies.

We will provide a financial gift to the staff and the families for their Christmas celebration.  If you would like to help with that, just send a donation to Mulberry International, PO Box 43623, Louisville, KY 40253, or click on the DONATE button in the Quick Links box above.
