Greetings!

After spending two weeks at home, I'm heading back to Ukraine tomorrow, November 1st.  This will be a short visit, one week.  The Hands and Feet Project is interested in starting a ministry in Crimea.  Mulberry Board Member Bob Drane and I will be giving them a tour of the area and an overview of ministry opportunities.

I hope to see many of you at the National Missionary Convention.  It's November 18-21 in Lexington, KY.  Mulberry is in booth B27.

This will be a very busy month.

Our family is growing.

LeesaThis is Leesa, the newest addition to our foster care program.  She was born weighing just over three pounds.  The family has a report from the hospital listing her medical problems: hole in her heart, poorly developed lungs, weak circulation and some we couldn't translate.  The bottom line is fetal alcohol syndrome.  The State told the Shalbesky family, "No one wants this baby."  They were wrong.  Leesa will be one year old in December.  She weighs 13 pounds, pushes herself around in a walker and squeals when she hears Mama's voice.
