I received a very excited message from Galya last month. She is the director of Project Sasha and provides a home for three street chidren. She was eager to share the news of her engagement and spring marriage.
To be honest, one of my first thoughts was, "How will we operate if she leaves?" She hasn't shared her plans beyond marriage. Hopefully, she will stay.
After a flurry of staff turnover last year, I asked Galya how we would ever replace such key people. She just smiled and said, "God always supplies." And, each time we have to replace a key staff member, He does.
I still hope Galya stays. But, I'm learning to trust God's plan and rejoice with Galya.
