| Greetings! |
A relative of one of the families living in Dyetski Dom made this drawing of the building. It's even better in person- then you can hear the laughter.
This letter is a little earlier in the month. I'm trying to get everything wrapped up before I leave for Ukraine in a couple of weeks.
The big news continues to come from Dyetski Dom. The Chernov family is still living in the library area. And their family continues to grow. One boy was adopted by a family in Kiev. Two children, a brother and a sister, have been added. For those keeping score, they now have eight children and there are 28 children in the three families living in the Dyetski Dom building. Although internet access can be a challenge, I plan to send an update or two during my visit. Don't grow weary,
Charles

| Transitional Living Testimony |
|
Peace to you, beloved by the Lord!
Here is the testimony of a child that I fostered.
Alena Bobrova, arrived from Krasnoperekopsk, that is in the North of Crimea when she was 10 years old. Her alcohol addicted mother commited suicide by sinking in the water. Alena was left with her father - a drug addicted man, who had been in prison for raping a young girl. After Alena's mother died, her father soon went to prison again, because of drugs. Alena was taken by her grandmother, who's been staying with a son - also alcohol addicted, selling everything in the house for alcohol. Alena graduated from grade school and she needed to study somewhere. Here is when our project comes handy. With your help the girl entered a professional school, got a profession - computer typist and went to her native city, found a job there. We get in touch by phone calls, she is doing great, she attends a local church there. I hope that her family will also come to God. The father is still in prison, I think he will be out in about 2 years.
This is really the miracle of God, to see how He uses Project in this way. I am so glad that I am at the place, where God wants me to be, for He is the father of orphans and widows. It's His will to protect such children as these. I thank God constantly for each one of you, for your prayers, for the money, for having you with us! Thank you for letting Him use you for Ukrainian children.
May the Lord our God give each one of you abundantly, the grace of the Lord be with you all, Love, Galina. |
| April, 2010 Discover Visit |
|
Mulberry will offer discovery visits to Ukraine during April of 2010. Several of you have expressed an interest in seeing our ministries in person. Rather than try to find a common schedule that fits several people, we have decided to try a different approach. You pick your own schedule and visit us in April. We will be sure that there is an American host in Ukraine during your visit. It's that simple. Once you arrive in Simferopol, our base in Ukraine, you will be our guest. We will handle all the arrangements for your stay. You will be able to visit each of our ministries. There will be tours of the area to give you a feel for why the need is so great. And, you will meet the people whose lives have been touched by Mulberry. Please let me know if you have an interest. |
