YA Special Issue 411

Special Issue: Opportunities for Young Adults

from the UUA Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries

Dear Friends,

We are writing to tell you about three different types of opportunities for you to participate in evolving the Unitarian Universalist Association into the diverse multi-generational organization we want it to be.

While we cannot act for you, we can act on your behalf to support you as you work for change.  This Special Issue presents opportunities for you to get personally involved in the governance of the Unitarian Universalist Association, in your spiritual development and in your leadership ability as Young Adults.  Each of the opportunities comes with a cost -- demands on your time or money.  We are committed and ready to help and ask that you not let lack of means restrain you from following your desire.  We pledge to do our utmost to assist your participation in any of these opportunities.

We make this pledge because the future of the UUA as an agent of change depends upon you.

Please make us strong: participate!

Warmly,

The Staff of the UUA Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries.

One mission of the Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministries  is to provide Young Adults inspiring opportunities to intertwine their spiritual life with the desire to serve as they explore their Unitarian Universalist identity and their relationship to the world.

Check out our new resource of domestic and international service opportunities for Young Adults that are offered by organizations in the United States and abroad.

The Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministries vets the programs - all you have to do is select the organization that provides the right opportunity for you!

We hope this resource includes opportunities which inspire you to live an experience never before imagined that gives to you and gives back to others!
