Lemony Snicket's The Composer is Dead Gets the Story Builder Treatment

 

Lemony Snicket's The Composer is DeadThe Berkeley Rep School of Theatre and Target Story Builders are coming to the Library to show kids how a theatrical production comes together. Kids will turn the library into the scene of a crime, becoming characters in The Composer is Dead, a mystery by Lemony Snicket. To be sure, this is will not be an unfortunate event - though the composer, whose demise is foretold in the play's title, may beg to differ.

Dress to Impress at the TeenZone!Fashion Art at the TeenZone

 

Main Library, TeenZone

Wednesday, December 8, 6 pm

 

The Main Library's TeenZone is putting on exhibit of fashion art by youth from Street Style & Dream Seams School of Fashion. An opening reception at the TeenZone will give teens the opportunity to meet the artists and make their own fashion art.

Elmhurst Re-opening Dec. 1, Brookfield Closing Temporarily

After a lengthy closure, due to the need for extensive repair work, Elmhurst Branch will open its doors to the public on Wednesday, December 1.
On the same day, Brookfield Branch will close temporarily so that renovations can be made on the building. Brookfield is expected to re-open in early February.
