Waukesha County
Recycling Report
E-News
August 2008 - Vol. 1 Issue 1
Greetings!

The Recycling Report E-News, previously The County Conservation E-News, has undergone some major revisions!  Our new version promises to keep you up to date on recycling, waste reduction, and composting issues in the county four times a year.  If you would like to continue to receive this publication, be sure to click 'confirm' at the top of this e-mail.  Also, please feel free to forward this publication to your friends and family.  Waukesha County will never rent, sell, or share your name with any other party.  Be sure to check out our other newsletters, including such topics as golfing in the county, environmental education, water issues, and gardening to name a few.  We hope you enjoy this new version of our E-news and, as always, thank you for recycling more.
Recycle More Wisconsin
New Statewide Recycling Website

Recycle More Wisconsin (www.recyclemorewisconsin.org) is a website aimed to reach all Wisconsinites and encourage them to continue or improve their current recycling efforts.

The website was created after completing research done by the Be SMART Coalition.   Local research shows that while Wisconsinites recycle, they could be doing a lot better.  By  rediscovering all of the benefits of recycling, residents will be encouraged to recycle more.  Additionally, people are more likely to recycle when they know what the recycled items will make as final products as well as the economic and environmental benefits of recycling.  Finally, research showed that people wanted one-stop shopping for all of this information as well as information on what exactly their community can recycle and how to prepare the materials.

Recycle More Wisconsin is a campaign from the Be SMART Coalition (Save Money And Reduce Trash) to encourage residents to rediscover recycling.  Find out what you can recycle in your community.
