Every summer, underprivileged children are at risk to lose more than two months of reading skills. Join The Reading Connection (TRC) in the fight against summer reading loss. Donate today to support We Are Readers, TRC's summer reading initiative. Thanks to the Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation, your donation will be matched up to $5,000. That means your donation is worth twice as much! Even a $5 donation will help We Are Readers better serve our community's children. We Are Readers plans special activities and guest readers for children and relates them to the books they're reading. A $25 donation will go towards supplies for these special activites -- crafts, cooking lessons, science projects and more for over 45 children. This summer, We Are Readers will give away books to children in your community who would not otherwise have access to new books. A $50 donation provides new books all summer for one child in our program. Help us provide a summer full of reading for the children in our community. Thanks for your continued support!
