| Autumn Equinox |
| The Autumn Equinox which is September 22, signals the end of the Summer months and the beginning of Winter. At this time of year, days have been shortening since the Summer Solstice three months earlier. The Equinox is the point where nights reach the same length as days. After this point, the sun will shine lower and lower in the horizon until the Winter Solstice in about three months time.
Autumn is the time when things begin to shed--leaves fall way from the trees, and the growth which was young in Spring is now matured. Autumn also equates to the harvest time of year--it symbolizes harvest outwardly and inwardly.
It is a time of slowing down and reflection.
What seeds did you plant this year?
How have you cultivated your intentions?
What have you manifested?
Keep tending the soil of your mind with positive thoughts, affirmations, faith and right action! |

Even though Spring is my favorite time of year, I also appreciate the Fall Season---the vibrant colors, the harvest, the holidays.
This Fall, we truly have an amazing opportunity to 'rise' with new leadership, vision and hope! Do your part and organize others to vote for the
Obama-Biden Team for Change.
Having recently returned from Enlightened Warrior Training as Harriet High Priestess, I am exceedingly grateful, re-invigorated and committed to do whatever it takes to elevate my own consciousness and energy vibration to boldly and courageously live my passion and purpose--to empower and enrich others through enlightened service, and in doing so prosper in all areas of my life. Wright On!
Since the Summer I've been a key player in a Financial Freedom Circle, composed of talented, resourceful, wise and creative women dedicated to transforming our relationship with money, so that as we support others to attain financial freedom, we too are financially empowered. What a blessing to experience greater bounty in community!
This is indeed the final quarter of the "Nature" year and we're bound to experience even greater transformation in our lives. However, as we reap this year's harvest, let us be mindful of the seeds we plant and energized by the promise of an empowered and enriched 2009! |

Do you feel as though life is speeding by like a freight train! Are you caught up in the hustle bustle of family, work, school, sports and other time-consuming obligations? Bombarded at every turn by the media, news and commercials, do you wonder how to cope and keep it all together? When do you ever take time to be still, be quiet or stop to smell the roses?
With the holiday season rapidly approaching, which often means additional demands on your time and energy, you may begin to feel more overwhelmed and stressed.
Are you ready to experience a healthy alternative?
Do you want to maintain your sanity and the sanctity of the holidays?
Would you like a fulfilling and joyful holiday season without the hustle and hassle?
The choice is yours. Consider a few of these suggestions:
1. If you meditate, continue. If you don't, start. 10-20 minutes will start and end your day calmly and peacefully.
2. Spend more time outdoors in nature. Go to the ocean, forest or mountains and attune yourself to nature's wisdom.
3. Make pampering time a priority. Relax in a hot tub, get a massage or facial; treat yourself to a foot bath. Soak in your home tub with bubbles, rose petals, aromatherapy candles and soothing music.
4. When gathering with family, make it potluck or go to a restaurant and ask everyone to chip in on the tab.
5. Create a ritual of gratitude for the year's challenges and opportunities. Let it become a new family tradition.
6. Give gift certificates, handmade gifts or exchange things you've never used or no longer use. It will be a gift for the new recipient.
7. If you absolutely must purchase gifts, hire a personal shopper!
8. Engage in community service or volunteer at a church or shelter.
9. Check into a retreat center or do a silent retreat--make it your way of hibernating to recharge your batteries.
Be willing to Stop, Rest, Breathe, Smile and Enjoy the Bliss!
