Hourly Analysis Program (HAP) Training

Coming to Malden, September 10 - 14

Carrier's New HAP v4.5 Overview

Date: 10 September 2012

This class presented by Carrier Software Systems focuses on LEED 2009 EA credit 1, Optimized Energy Performance and Carrier's latest Hourly Analysis Program (HAP). Participants will be provided with advanced HAP energy simulation techniques for LEED.

These techniques are much easier to accomplish using the HAP with its LEED 2009 EA credit 1 reporting capabilities. See how fast this program can assess EAc1 points with automatic Baseline Building rotations and with quicker system definition using the new "Equipment Wizard". This program makes Whole Building Energy Simulation according to ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2007 requirements much faster and easier. Training includes a demonstration of baseline and proposed building energy analysis using the new features in the latest version of HAP.

Suggested Prerequisite: Prior knowledge of HAP load estimating and energy simulation, LEED 2009 EAc1 and

ASHRAE 90.1-2007 Appendix G is highly recommended, but not required.

Schedule: 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuition: Free

There will be 4 additional training classes on subsequent days. Each training module provides an in depth tutorial on the many features and benefits of using Carrier's HAP program. These additional classes with be held from Tuesday, September 11th through Friday, September 14th. Sign up for all, or just the classes you are interested in. For more detail or to sign up for these classes, use the link provided.
