A/C UpgrAID Program
Quick Links
Greetings!

This heating season we highly recommend dealers use the upcoming tax credit deadline to their advantage and push furnace change-outs as much as possible. To help close the deal we have brought back the A/C UpgrAID program, which provides an added rebate with no dealer contribution. There is still no information on what will replace tax credits (if anything), and the combination of rebates available right now is too good to pass up.

Sincerely,

Signiture

Major changes include:

  • New H2O hot water coil model numbers
  • Notes added to Carrier thermostat page
  • Generac branded generators replace Carrier branded units
Generac DCNE transitions generator inventory to Generac
Carrier Corporation's multi-year branding arrangement with Generac has come to an end and Carrier has chosen not to renew. However, they have negotiated a deal where Carrier distribution can continue to purchase generators directly from Generac at their deepest discount level.

DCNE will be transitioning current Carrier model numbers over to Generac model numbers within the next few months. Pricing and model numbers are available in the latest price page download on dcne.com.

DCNE is viewing this transition as a positive one, as it will allow our dealers access to Generac's full product line (excluding industrial diesel generators). Dealers can now order generators in any size with or without a transfer switch and will also have access to portable generators.

A/C UpgAID A/C UpgrAID is back and better than ever
The A/C UpgrAID program is back this year and better than ever. Below are the details of the program:

With your purchase of an approved Carrier Furnace you can offer the same "COOL CHOICES" manufacturer rebates, local utility rebates and federal tax credits along with a "DCNE A/C UPGRAID COUPON". This Coupon pays up to an additional $600 if the end user adds qualified Air Conditioning (up to $750 for a Heat Pump).

Homeowners have until May 31, 2011 to add qualifying Air Conditioning and utilize this coupon. Dealers are sure to like this program because it requires minimal paperwork and zero financial contribution from the Dealer while increasing sales opportunities.
