Greetings!

As consumers continue to scrutinize spending it is more important than ever to present all available manufacturer, local utility, and government incentives. Consumers can now receive up to $4000 off a qualified system install, and when this size rebate is combined with an energy savings analysis and attractive finance offers, it is very difficult to justify not upgrading an old inefficient system.

DCNE continues to be your expert source for information on available rebates; please contact us if you would like to learn more about any of these programs.

As always, thank you for your business

Sincerely,

QIV Training DCNE can now host QIV training upon request
Quality Installation Verification (QIV) is a simple 4-step process that ensures a Split System is operating at peak efficiency. It is also a required part of completing an Energy Star Quality Installation.

Dealers that preform QIV testing not only offer a value added service to consumers, but are also able to offer consumers additional utility rebates (such as a $900 early replacement rebate) that can help make a proposal more competitive. Dealers can also earn $225 for each pre and post QIV test performed.

DCNE now has a portable QIV training unit that can be transported back and forth between our Malden MA and Cranston RI branches. If you are interested in attending training at one of our facilities please fill out the form below and return it to Conservation Services Group.

Puron Use Existing R-22 Line Sets when installing R-410A
Making the decision to switch to Puron refrigerant just got a whole lot easier. After vigorous testing Carrier has just announced that you can reuse exisiting R-22 coils and line sets when installing an R-410A unit.

Installers must first check if the diameter and length of the existing linenset are within the limits of the new unit being installed. Any traps and low spots in the suction line should be drained to remove as much residual oil as possible but there is no need to flush the lines. Proper clean up techniques should be used if the original system experienced a compressor failure. An R-410A TXV valve must be installed on the indoor coil.

If the indoor coil or fan coil is manufactured before 1992 or is 8 SEER then it should be replaced.

Presidents Award B&D Air Conditioning Receives Carrier President's Award
DCNE would like to congratulate B&D Refrigeration of Norwood MA for being the first DCNE/Carrier dealer to earn the Carrier President's Award. This prestigious award was presented to Charlie Dolabany and his family at the Factory Authorized Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas on March 20.

The President's Award is an annual award to a select group of Carrier Factory Authorized Dealers who achieve high scores on a set of criteria established each year by the Carrier brand. Criteria includes growth over a 3-year period as well as the percent of Puron, Infinity, and Indoor Air Quality products sold each year and dealer involvement in various Carrier programs.
