Tax Relief For Individuals and Businesses
On December 17, 2010, the president signed the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010 (also known as the Tax Relief Act), extending a variety of tax provisions. The act also provided an important depreciation incentive for businesses and a new 2011 tax break for individuals. Beginning in 2011, the estate tax is restored, but with an increased exemption and lower rate.
The following topics will be addressed, and we will have more information going forward in 2011.

- Business stimulus: improved bonus depreciation

- Individual provisions rolled forward
- Payroll tax cut for 2011

Employers, smooth out year-end payroll
Click on the link for a list of tasks that employers should perform in December and January to make year-end payroll processing go more smoothly. This will help you get the current year closed accurately, as well as prepare you for the changes that are coming in the new year. If you have a payroll service process your payroll, they may perform some of these items for you. Please consult with your payroll processing company to make sure you are covered in all of these areas. |

4 FKCo Clients Contributing to the Success of Crystal Bowersox
Crystal Bowersox, top five finalist on American Idol last season, is backed by three of our clients. Chuck Burgi on drums, Tommy Byrnes on guitar, and Greg Smith on bass all recorded on Crystal's new record and performed with her recently on the Regis & Kelly show. Her new record was produced by our long-time client David Bendeth and reached #1 on iTunes. High five guys.
