The next Power Networking Over Breakfast  takes place on 
Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 9am.  SAVE THE DATE!  The topic is Power Marketing & Advertising-- Getting The Word Out About Your Business , with guest speaker Lady Simone, editor of Around Town Magazine (scroll down to see flyer). If you are looking to get the word out about your business then this networking event is for you.

Hello my name is Sherise Patterson, as Queens Chapter president of Black Business Works I aim to achieve the mission of BBW which is to 'identify and connect black business owners and professionals, for the purpose of growing their businesses qualitatively and quantitatively'. 
 
I am confident that together, we can grow our businesses through professional networking, lead generation opportunities, and referrals.

On May 27, 2010 Black Business Works launched its first networking event in the Queens area.  Over 40 small business owners participated in the launch. Phil Andrews, President of the 100 Black Men of Long Island, Inc. was the special guest speaker.  The topic for the Breakfast meeting was "The Importance of belonging to a network".
