New York, NY - 14-year old Raystone Records recording artist Jessarae will appear as a special guest performer at the largest cycling event in America, The 2010 Amgen Tour of California, on Sunday, May 23, 2010.   Presented by AEG, the Amgen Tour of California is a Tour de France-style cycling road race, that challenges the world's top professional cycling teams along with celebrities and local dignitaries to compete along a demanding course from May 16-23.

In only five years, Jessarae taught himself to play the guitar, released a debut EP entitled Damaged Heart (recorded in 2008), and continues to amass new legions of fans of all ages through a series of notable live appearances throughout the US and Canada. Recent highlights include live concert appearances at the 2010 Winter Olympics, 2010 Sundance Film Festival (his third time), and live television appearances on various morning shows including Good Day Sacramento and Philadelphia's "The 10! Show."
 
Most recently, Jessarae has just been announced as the youngest ambassador to join WhyHunger's Artists Against Hunger & Poverty campaign amongst such music luminaries including Bruce Springsteen, Carlos Santana, Michael McDonald, Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire, Joss Stone, and Jackson Browne to name a few.
 
In addition to his charitable work as a music ambassador for WhyHunger's (AAH&P) campaign, Jessarae has launched his own "Dream Big" - Schools Across America Tour - performing and talking to thousands of students at elementary, middle and high schools throughout the country. It is Jessarae's goal to empower his peers to chase their dream, no matter what that may be, with tenacity, integrity and courage, staying true to who they really are on the inside.
